Featuring an array of auckland s very best professionally designed gardens most of which have never been opened to the public before visitors will be able to immerse themselves in great garden design and meet the designers who created them. Calling all garden design enthusiasts it s time to mark your diaries for the 2019 auckland garden designfest.
The main house on the property is a 1970s ian burrows designed home. Our latest garden to list is lavender hill a small working farm owned by trish and jason delamore. On saturday 16th sunday 17th november we open the gates of 18 carefully selected stunning private gardens all by professional garden designers for you to enjoy and explore.
The main charity to benefit from money raised will be youth suicide awareness. Added to this are a few sheep and alpacas. Your tour fee includes the designfest admission ticket.
We look forward to seeing you at garden designfest in november 2021. This annual event now in its fifth year opens private gardens offering visitors the chance to see these hidden spaces and to talk to their garden designers. Notes about what to wear bring.
